UNDERSTANDING THE DEMANDS OF PREVAILING PRAYER (3)
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us." (1 John 5:14)
Pray the Word
We must approach God in prayer with full persuasion and confidence that He answers prayer.
Effective praying is not guessing or trying to see whether God will answer or not. He always answers whenever we pray according to His will.
How do we pray according to His will?
His Word is His will.
Whenever we pray the Word, we are praying according to His will, and this guarantees answers to prayer.
It is important for us to note that God is not moved by murmuring, complaining, or tears, but by faith in His Word.
Praying without the Word is like shooting a gun without loading bullets into it.
Isaiah 43:26 says: "Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified."
Declare This: I pray according to the will of God because His Word lives richly in me. My prayers are filled with faith, confidence, and divine authority. As I declare God's Word, Heaven responds, and every promise of God finds expression in my life, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Additional Scriptures: Isaiah 43:26
Hebrews 4:16
Romans 10:17
John 15:7
