Living a thanksgiving lifestyle
Will add fruit to your prayers.
The problem with not receiving is usually giving up before your prayer is answered.
I have found that the prayer the Father answers 100% of the time is this… not my will, but Your will be done.
Remember, the Father knows where you’re at, and He already knows what the future holds.
I’m going to share some wisdom that took many years to learn and understand.
There are things that we desire, want and think that we need. Sometimes, the answer is no and sometimes the answer is wait. Sometimes, it will stretch us, so that our dependence on Him grows, to produce strength and rest. The Father knows our hearts much more than we do. He knows that if He gives you some things that you ask for, that it may end up drawing you away from Him. But, He also knows the things that will draw you closer and you will give Him all of the glory.
The bottom line to my personal prayer life is this; I don’t want anything (no matter how much I think it will better my life), that will potentially draw me away from the Father and our relationship. I’ve learned to rest in Him and His promises, when He says; He already knows what I have need of, even before I ask (Matt 6:8), and that EVERYTHING will work together for my good (Rom 8:28).
Don’t get stressed out because things are taking place in your life that is beyond control, but rather rejoice and be thankful, that the Father knows exactly where you are and what you’re going through. In the long run, you will be very blessed and you will give Him the glory.
