Genesis 16:3 So Abram's wife Sarai took Hagar, her Egyptian slave, and gave her to her husband Abram as a wife for him. This happened after Abram had lived in the land of Canaan ten years.
Genesis 16:9 The angel of the LORD said to her. "Go back to your mistress and submit to her authority."
Genesis 16:11 The angel of the LORD said to her. "You have conceived and will have a son. You will name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.
Genesis 16:16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to him.
Genesis 17:3 Then Abram fell facedown and God spoke to him:
Genesis 17:9 God also said to Abraham, "As for you, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations are to keep my covenant.
Genesis 17:11 You must circumcise the flesh of your foreskin to serve as a sign of the covenant between me and you.
Genesis 17:16 I will bless ger; indeed, I will give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she will produce nations; kings of peoples will come from her."
Genesis 18:3 and said, "My Lord. if I have found favor with you, please do not go on past your servant.

Abraham's Plea For Sodom
Genesis 18:16 The men got up from there and looked out over Sodom, and Abraham was walking with them to see them off.
Genesis 19:3 But he urged them so strongly that they followed him and went into his house. He prepared a feast and baked unleavened bread for them, and they ate.
Genesis 19:9 "Get out of the way! they said, adding, "This one came here as an alien, but he's acting like a judge! Now we'll do more harm to you then to them." They put pressure on Lot and came to break down the door.

Genesis 19:16 But he hesitated. Because of the LORD'S compassion for him, the men grabbed his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters. They brought him out and left him outside the city.
Genesis 20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, "You are about to die because of the woman you have taken, for she is a married woman."
Genesis 20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, "What have you done to us? How did I sin against you that you have brought such enormous guilt on me and on my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done."
Genesis 20:11 Abraham replied, "I thought, "There is absolutely no fear of God in this place. "They will kill me because of my wife.'
Genesis 20:16 And he said to Sarah, "Look, I am giving your brother one thousand pieces of silver. It is a verification of your honor to all who are with you. You are fully vindicated."
