In the days when Joseph was bound in chains and the word of the Lord tried him, he could not yet see the purpose of his suffering, and the silence from heaven must have felt like abandonment, yet the Scripture declares that the word of the Lord is tried and purified like silver seven times, proving that what God has spoken stands firm even when our eyes cannot trace His hand; so it is that when we have not learned the deep things of the Kingdom (the patience of the seed, the wisdom of the cross, the sovereignty that weaves sorrow into salvation) our hearts become vulnerable to the terrible whisper that what has been said about God is unreliable, that His power has failed, or that He does not exist at all, but this tragic conclusion is born not from evidence but from ignorance of His hidden ways; therefore, the invitation stands: study, search, and learn the ways of the Kingdom, for the truth you discover will armor your soul against the lie that God has abandoned His throne or broken His promise. For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth (Psalm 33:4). This is the anchor we hold when everything else is swept away, the certainty that God's character and His Word are one, and that to know the one is to trust the other, even when the path is dark and the future uncertain, for His faithfulness is proven not by our understanding but by His unchanging nature.
