Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer!
Heavenly Father,
This Thankful Thursday morning, we come before Your throne with humble hearts overflowing with gratitude. Before we ask You for anything, we pause to thank You for everything. Thank You for the gift of another day, for the breath in our lungs, the strength in our bodies, and the mercy that greeted us when we opened our eyes. Your Word declares, "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."(Lamentations 3:22-23, KJV).
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love that has carried us through every trial, every disappointment, every unanswered question, and every victory. Even when we could not see Your hand, You were faithfully directing our steps. Thank You for being our Provider, our Protector, our Healer, our Shepherd, and our Peace.
Father, today we surrender every burden into Your capable hands. Fill our hearts with Your joy and our minds with Your peace. Let Your Holy Spirit guide every decision we make and every word we speak. Keep us from fear, anxiety, discouragement, and distraction. Instead, help us to walk by faith, trusting that You are working all things together for our good according to Romans 8:28.
Lord Jesus, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those who are discouraged, heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving, and restore those who feel broken. Let Your healing power flow through every home and every family represented in this prayer. You are still Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals.
Father, bless the work of our hands today. Open doors that no one can shut and close every door that is not Your will. Grant us divine wisdom, favor with God and people, and opportunities to be a light in a dark world. Help us to honor You in everything we do.
Teach us to be thankful in every circumstance, for Your Word says, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."(1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV). Even when life is difficult, remind us that You remain faithful, and Your promises never fail.
Lord, protect our families. Surround our homes with Your angels. Cover us with the precious blood of Jesus. Keep us safe from danger, sickness, confusion, and every attack of the enemy. Let Your presence rest upon us, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding.
May our lives bring glory to Your name today. Let our words encourage, our actions reflect Christ, and our faith inspire others to trust in You. Help us to live with thankful hearts, knowing that "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above."(James 1:17, KJV).
We praise You because You are worthy. We worship You because You are holy. We thank You because You have been better to us than we have been to ourselves.
