GOD'S PRESENCE IS OUR SECURITY

Psalm 16:8-9

"I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, my whole being rejoices, and my body also rests securely."

In this psalm, also known as the Psalm of David, the author expresses his absolute trust in God. Certainly, he was surrounded by dangers, but he chose to fix his gaze on the Lord rather than on the circumstances. This communion with God filled his heart with joy and gave him profound security.

The believer's stability does not depend on the absence of trials, but on the presence of God. When the Lord occupies first place in our gaze (constantly before our eyes), fear loses its power, and difficulties can no longer make us fall.

The presence of God produces three fruits:

- a heart filled with joy,

- a peaceful mind, and

- a secure life.

Let us learn to keep God constantly before our eyes. Let us begin each day with His presence, consult Him in our decisions, and rely on His promises. Those who walk with God can move forward with confidence, even on a difficult path like ours today.

Lord, keep our eyes fixed on You. May Your presence be our strength, our joy, and our security, so that we may remain steadfast in every circumstance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
