Christians do not believe in three gods. We believe in one God who exists eternally as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. They are not three separate gods but one divine Being. This is called the Trinity. Jesus said, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30), and Christians baptize "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).
