WALKING IN BIBLICAL ORDER AND WISDOM

Scripture Reading:
1 Corinthians 11:3 (AMPC)
"But I want you to know and realize that Christ is the Head of every man, the head of a woman is her husband, and the Head of Christ is God."

God is a God of order, and His Word provides clear principles for healthy relationships, spiritual leadership, and mutual respect within the body of Christ. A proper understanding of these principles helps us avoid confusion, misuse of authority, and unnecessary conflict.

One common mistake is reading Scripture without considering its context. In this passage, the Apostle Paul teaches God's order within marriage by stating that the head of a woman is her husband. This instruction should not be interpreted to mean that every man has authority over every woman. Rather, Paul is addressing the covenant relationship between a husband and his wife, not granting universal authority to all men over all women.

Those who serve in leadership must therefore exercise wisdom, humility, and respect in their interactions with others. When ministering to married women, leaders should remember that they are ministering to fellow believers who are joined in covenant with their husbands. Concerns should be handled with maturity, accountability, and the appropriate lines of communication.

Where correction or conflict arises, pursue biblical order rather than personal authority. If a matter requires attention, follow the proper channels of accountability and communicate with grace, seeking restoration rather than condemnation. Spiritual leadership is demonstrated through humility, integrity, and love—not by controlling others.

As followers of Christ, let every relationship reflect His character. When we honor God's order, we promote peace, preserve unity, and strengthen the testimony of the Church.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom of Your Word. Teach me to walk in humility, honor, and biblical order in all my relationships. Help me to exercise wisdom in leadership, speak with grace, and treat others with the love and respect that reflects Christ. May my life always promote unity and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible Reading:
1 Timothy 3:1–16

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 3:13 (MSG)
"You're blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom, when you make friends with Madame Insight."
