GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY

“Guard Your Heart”

1 Kings 11:9

“So the Lord became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the Lord God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.”

This is the Word of God. Solomon began his reign with a heart devoted to God, but over time his love was divided, and he turned away from the Lord. His story reminds us that a strong beginning is not enough; we must remain faithful throughout our lives.

Our greatest danger is not always sudden failure but a heart that slowly drifts from God. Daily fellowship with Him keeps our hearts steadfast and our devotion sincere.

May the Lord guard our hearts from drifting away and help us remain faithful to Him all our days. Amen.
