We thank You for reminding us that our strength is not in ourselves but in You and in the power of Your might. In a world where many are pursuing wealth, success, and earthly prosperity, help us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Open our eyes to understand that Your Kingdom is near and that You call all people to repent, believe the Gospel, and be baptized, becoming citizens of Your heavenly Kingdom.
Lord, today we put on the whole armor of God. Gird our waists with Your truth, that we may not be deceived by the lies of this world. Clothe us with the breastplate of righteousness through Christ. Prepare our feet with the Gospel of peace so that we may boldly share the Good News wherever we go.
Above all, strengthen us to take up the shield of faith to extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. Protect our minds with the helmet of salvation, and place in our hands the sword of the Spirit, which is Your living Word. Teach us to pray always in the Spirit, remaining watchful, faithful, and persevering.
May we stand firm until the coming of our King, bringing glory to Jesus in all we do.
