MONDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“God Preserves His Promises”
2 Kings 11:17
“Then Jehoiada made a covenant between the Lord, the king, and the people, that they should be the Lord’s people.”
This is the Word of God. Despite Athaliah's attempt to destroy the royal line, God faithfully preserved His promise through the young king Joash. Under Jehoiada's leadership, the people renewed their covenant with the Lord and returned to faithful worship.
God never forgets His promises, even in the darkest times. He calls His people to renew their commitment to Him and to live as those who belong to Him.
May the Lord keep us faithful to His covenant and strengthen us to live as His devoted people each day. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
