Following Jesus and denying yourself isn't always easy, but it is simple.

The difficulty often comes when our focus shifts from Jesus to ourselves. Jesus never promised an easy life, but He did promise that His yoke is easy and that He would carry the burden with us.

Walking the narrow road takes discipline. It means choosing His will over our own and seeking His Kingdom before everything else.

At first it may feel like, "I have to." But as you grow in your relationship with Him, it becomes, "I get to." You begin to see the joy, peace, and purpose that come from living God's way.

So keep walking the narrow road, my friend. Jesus walked it first because He loved you. Now walk it because you love Him.

Father, thank You for showing me the way. Help me to stay on the narrow road and to choose You daily. Change my heart from "I have to" to "I get to," and teach me to walk joyfully with Jesus. In His Name, Amen.
