```TEXT: ROMANS 5:6-11```
```KEY VERSE:``` "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (ROMANS 5:8).

Romans 5 brings us to the heart of Calvary โ€” love commended, love proven, love poured out. Paul reminds us of our condition when Christ died. We were not good people needing help. We were without strength, ungodly, sinners, enemies. Four words that describe us. Yet it was precisely then โ€” while we were yet sinners โ€” that Christ died for us. Calvary did not wait for us to be worthy. It made us worthy.

Three truths from love commended: One, His love found us at our worst. โ€œWhile we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.โ€ He didnโ€™t die for you after you repented. He died to make repentance possible. The Cross is not a reward for the righteous; itโ€™s rescue for the ruined. Two, His love saves us from wrath. โ€œMuch more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through himโ€ (verse 9). The same blood that cleanses also covers. Godโ€™s anger against sin fell on Jesus, so it will never fall on you. Three, His love makes us rejoice. โ€œAnd not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christโ€ (verse 11). Calvary turns sinners into sons who joy in God. Not just saved from hell, but brought into fellowship.

Are you doubting Godโ€™s love today because of your weakness, your past, your struggle? Look again to Calvary. If He loved you as a sinner, how much more will He keep you as His child? If He died for you when you were His enemy, will He forsake you now that you are His friend? Let the Cross silence every doubt. You are loved โ€” proven at Calvary.

Prayer
Father of love, thank You for commending Your love at Calvary. Thank You that Jesus died for me while I was yet a sinner, without strength and without hope. I receive again Your justification, Your salvation from wrath, Your joy. Teach me to rest in this love and to live for the One who died for me, in Jesusโ€™ name I pray. Amen.

May the Lord assure your heart with His love today. May the memory of Calvary drive away fear, condemnation, and doubt, and may His reconciling love fill you with joy and peace, through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. ๐Ÿผ
