Psalms 6:8-9 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.
Ecclesiastes 7:11-14 Wisdom is as good as an inheritance, yea, more excellent is it for them that see the sun.
For wisdom is a defense, even as money is a defense; but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom preserveth the life of him that hath it.
Consider the work of God; for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked?
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yea, God hath made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything [that shall be] after him.
James 1:2-5 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
And let patience have [its] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.
But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
