We often tell one another to trust God and not rely on our own strength, yet we still see weary and anxious believers everywhere.

Why?

Sometimes it's because we know the truth but haven't received it.

God promises to refresh the weary and satisfy the sorrowful. His desire isn't just to do it once, but to continue doing it as we remain in Him.

Receiving requires letting go. You can't hold onto anxiety while receiving His peace. You can't cling to sorrow while receiving His joy.

So today, let go of what you've been carrying. Receive what your Father is freely offering. Stay close to Him, and He will keep filling you.

Do what you can, then leave the results in God's hands.

Father, thank You for refreshing the weary and filling those who come to You. Help me to let go of every burden and receive Your peace, joy, and strength today. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
