Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

This morning I could have easily slept another hour I think. Haha. Not really sure why, exactly, but I am thinking that I may need a pot of coffee instead of a couple of cups. Just saying. Haha.

Yesterday I had a good day. The doctor appointment was promising. They are concerned about why my husband had that episode that landed him a three-day stay in the hospital and why his kidneys are being like they are. I was notified yesterday that I can now order my author copies for From the Darkness Comes the Light … this is the very first book I published. I ordered 50 copies in hopes that I won't have to order for a while.

Today we have our bible study in about 30 minutes, then another follow-up appointment from the hospital stay, then … if it does not rain, I might go mow the third yard that I am responsible for. Quick check of the weather looks like mowing is a possibility. Good.

The chaos of yesterday is behind us. The unknown of today awaits. We cannot change anything from yesterday, but … we can make the choice to be positive today. Whatever failed yesterday is yesterday’s problem; today we have a clean slate to make a difference. It is simply a matter of perspective. I could dilly-dally on the thought that I wanted another bit of sleep, or I can be thankful that He insisted that I get up so as not to miss a blessing. I can be frustrated with the conversation with the VA, or I can see the solution that God placed in my mind. I can be worried that they are only guessing why my husband had that episode and ward off modern medicine, or I can be thankful that I have a team of doctors working with him to figure it out. Whatever the cause. They want to know as well. I can choose dark … or I can choose Light. I choose Light.

Today I encourage you to maintain your course towards the Light. As the enemy attempts to derail you, you command him to leave. Years ago while driving to work, I felt a presence in my car. Anger driven atmosphere. I was listening to KLove and jamming loudly … pretty sure God had his earplugs in to my joyful noise of praise that was very much out of tune. But this presence appeared, and instantly I felt the need to scream … yes, scream in a commanding voice, “GET OUT OF MY CAR! YOU HAVE NO PLACE HERE!” I yelled that like three or four times. Then the feeling changed to love and peace. I cannot explain it in any other way than the enemy was after my peace, and I commanded him to kick rocks. We have that authority…use it. It sounds silly that I would yell in my car basically at myself since I was the only one in the car physically, but it is not the physical we are fighting; it is the spirit world.

Today, take your stand against the enemy and let him know that you are a child of Light and that he can go kick rocks. When he comes against you, remind him who is truly in control and it is not him. Stand firm in your faith. You got this.

Be blessed.
