" I know I have written so many posts about healing, God's will about sickness and disease, and faith for healing. But I still see families with cancer patients, children with cancer, parents with cancer, and most are steadily losing the battle with their cancer and some even believe that it could be God's will that they die early and not stay and reap the harvest of the timespan they were born into. When death comes upon a young person it is because of the curse of the law overcoming that person due to some form of disobedience. It could be as simple as doubt that they ARE ALREADY HEALED or something hidden or even worse. But understand what the Bible says that Jesus did during His earthly ministry because that was God in the flesh. It says that He went about DOING GOOD AND HEALING ALL THAT WAS OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL. Who did the healing? Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Who was causing the oppressive sickness and diseases? THE DEVIL. It can't be explained any simpler than this. There should never be any questions about whether healing was God's will or whether the devil's diseases are God's will. But if there is... Peter answered it in 2 Peter 2:24 where it says that by His stripes we WERE (past tense) HEALED. This means that we become healthy and healed the very second that the Holy Spirit enters into His Temple which is our body at salvation or Spiritual rebirth.
It hurts me deeply for people especially children to have faith in who God is, what God can do, Who Jesus is, and the salvation He provided, and yet die looking at test results and feeling painful symptoms for months without ever having any faith that Jesus has already done His part and believe and start to act like they believe that they ARE HEALED ALREADY. We cannot believe what our flesh tells us. We cannot believe what someone else's flesh tells us, even if it is supported by medical science, if it is in direct opposition to what GOD'S HOLY WORDS SAY! FAITH IN GOD IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS OVER EVERYTHING ELSE THAT CONTRADICTS IT. IT IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD'S WORDS SAY OVER WHAT OUT BODILY SYMPTOMS ARE TELLING US. Faith is the substance of things hoped for.. which means in the greek "expected" the evidence of things unseen or unfelt. We simply know that Jesus has already healed us even though we may not see it or feel it, and we stop acting like or doing the things that a sickly person would be doing. Faith without works is dead!!! We have to start acting healed and stop asking God to heal us and start praising God for healing us. We have to make uncomfortable choices. We have to choose to be healed and believe it and act like we believe it. THAT IS FAITH IN HEALING. The best time to receive our healing is at a point of laying on of hands by someone anointed with the gift of healing which is one of the nine spiritual ministry gifts. If no one is around that currently has that anointing then any child of God with faith in it can anoint them with oil in the name of Jesus and pray a prayer of faith or agreement with them. But the one with the symptoms must believe that it is done! Completed, and they are healed from that moment and start praising God for the healing and stop begging God to do it over and over and over, like He missed something the first time. God has done His part... He sent Jesus! Jesus has done His part... He bled for us as the supreme sacrifice for All of our redemption. Faith that it was enough to do the job is OUR PART. BY HIS STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.
As I was about to pray for someone with cancer I felt a need to ask God concerning that particular young man and the Holy Spirit told me that He was going to bring him on home to be with Him. I felt sad because I know that God is doing it because of a lack of faith. They have trusted in everything except what Jesus has already done. They trusted in millions praying for months, they trusted in medical science, new drugs, chemotherapy, and now they are nearing the end of his life and are just documenting everything. God would much rather use that young man as a testament to His healing and willingness to heal for all who would listen for years to come instead of him not being used as a testimony and him dying young. But Satan was given the ability to cause the problem due to some unknown reason and we don't need to speculate about that because that gets us nowhere. Putting blame doesn't help anyone. The solution is faith in God's healing according to His Word... Period. It's actually simple, free, and freely given by God's grace but just as it is a part of our plan of salvation that is often not explained nor received, it must be received by REAL TRUE FAITH... not some wavering religious beliefs that require God to do something else in OUR special case... because who are we to ask God to have Jesus suffer a little bit more to provide a healing that we can feel and see before we believe that we have it. That isn't faith and without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH IS SIN(disobedience)... Which is why the young man is going to be with the Lord rather than be healed unless he gets eyes to see and ears to hear the truth. I prayed for his peace, his strength, his faith for salvation, and for God to open his young spiritual eyes to see. To open the ears of his understanding. For strength and comfort for his family but not for God to heal him because He already did and it hasn't been received by real faith. Maybe someone who knows him will share the truth with him or his family. It's really hard to feel severe pain and have everyone around you talking about the disease YOU HAVE and to have real faith that you're healed of it at the same time enough to try to sit up in bed today, sit on the edge of the bed tomorrow, put one foot on the floor or even both feet the next day, and sitting in a chair the next, believing every day that the more you trust God to help you that the stronger you will become and the less symptoms you will have... until the devil has to flee because you are resisting him while submitting to God through faith in the finished work of Jesus.
I wish I could explain it better... In a different way that people like that young man would understand so he would HAVE FAITH IN GOD AND TRUST IN HIM AND NOT LEAN UNTO HIS OWN UNDERSTANDING. I lost a daughter because she never saw where she wasn't in faith until it was too late. Believing that God can or will heal us doesn't get it done. We have to receive the anointing, believe that we are healed, and put some works into it. We have to act on our faith. I hate to see a young person die of something that his savior has already fixed so he doesn't have to die young... Letting the devil win just irritates me bad. Submit to God, do it His way, resist the devil and all his junk including disease, and he will flee from you or run in terror from the anointed power of the Holy Spirit. Saying you have something and acting like you have it is submission to it. Submit to God's Healing... Not the devil's diseases, temptations, and curse.
