TRUE JOY IS FOUND ONLY IN JESUS!
Have you ever awakened before sunrise and watched the golden light shine through the trees? In those quiet moments, your heart is filled with peace and joy. But have you ever stopped to ask who is the Giver of that joy?
Psalm 16:11 "Thou wilt show me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
What an incredible promise! The joy God offers is not temporary like the beauty of a sunrise—it is eternal.
God Is Near
We should remember that we are always in God's presence. He sends His holy angels to watch over us. When we realize how near Heaven is, our hearts will desire to obey Him and faithfully follow His will.
True happiness, love, peace, and security are found in a life surrendered to God.
Look to Jesus
Jesus lived a perfect life, suffered, died for our sins, rose again, and lives forever. He still loves you today!
He alone can satisfy the deepest needs of your soul.
"Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves... He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His." — The Desire of Ages, p. 25
Never think that Jesus only died for the world.
He died for YOU.
He knows YOU.
He loves YOU.
Surrender Brings Joy
The first step toward lasting happiness is surrendering your will completely to Christ.
When we become children of God:
We are protected by His truth.
We enjoy His daily companionship.
We become ambassadors of Heaven.
Our homes become places where Christ dwells.
Put On the Whole Armor of God
Ephesians 6:11-12
Every day we face spiritual battles, but God has provided everything we need for victory.
Pray daily.
Study His Word.
Trust His promises.
Walk in obedience.
As we continually learn from Jesus, He transforms our character into His likeness.
The Secret of Lasting Joy
Real freedom is found in Christ alone. His law is the law of liberty, and His Spirit changes our hearts.
When our will is united with His will, we experience peace that the world cannot give.
Perfect Joy Comes from Perfect Surrender.
Choose Jesus today. Walk with Him every day. The greatest joy you will ever know is found in a close relationship with your loving Savior.
