Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

It would appear that Mother Nature is done with the overly hot temperatures for a day or so; today looks like it is prepared for a mild day. It will be a nice change of pace. Yesterday I mowed the other large yard that I am responsible for, and it was a tad warm. The wind was there, but only to annoy me when I turned around. Haha.

Yesterday was full of blessings. Starting with another one of his medical team stating that they are just as confused as the other doctors as to what caused him to have an episode in the first place and land in the hospital. However, not the confused where you give up, but the confused that now I am really curious and need to know. The second was a nice enough day that I could get that other large yard mowed without roasting. Next, the insurance company has settled on the majority of the house claim and notified us that they needed a more detailed estimate on the interior room repair. Yesterday, God gave me a story while I was mowing, and when I finished, I was left with the idea…keep it as a short story or develop it into a novella? My daughter and I have secured plans for us to get the littles for next week as well. A day full of blessings on top of blessings.

Now, yesterday did present some challenges. While driving to the doctor, I turned on my turn signal at just before the beginning of the turn lane, merged into the turning lane from my lane, which was next to the turning lane, and landed myself a loud honk, the bird, and shouts of ugly as the car behind me drove by us. I looked at my husband, and he looked at me, and we were like … see if I ever use my turn signal again. Haha. Several times while mowing, the grass would blow up into my face, and I had to stop to work it out of my eyes. And, as I stated earlier, I am left with the thoughts of what to do with this new story … develop it or leave it.

This morning, when I woke up, I was refreshed and ready to take on the day. We have another doctor this afternoon and we must drive through several miles of construction, but … we know about it ahead of time so we are prepared and now know to leave earlier. Plus, we will get to have dinner down there. The temps today, so far, are inviting to be outside. It does appear that we are going to have another glorious day.

Now, as you sit reading this, drinking your morning tonic of choice … how do you see your yesterday and how do you see your today? Were there so many challenges that you cannot see the blessings, or are you struggling to find the challenges because all you saw were the blessings? What about today? Are you looking at the laundry list of ‘I don’t want to’s?’ or are you looking at the potential the day has for seed planting?

Hot coffee. Cooler temps. Refreshing morning atmosphere. It is going to be a blessed day. I claim it. I stand on it. How about you? Will you join me?

Be blessed.
