GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY

“Willing to Serve”

Nehemiah 11:2

“And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.”

This is the Word of God. Nehemiah 11 highlights those who willingly left the comfort of their homes to live in Jerusalem for the good of God's people. Their readiness to serve showed a heart that placed God's work above personal convenience.

God still seeks willing hearts today. Whether our service is seen or unseen, He delights in those who gladly offer themselves for His kingdom and His glory.

May God give us willing hearts to serve Him faithfully, putting His purposes above our own comfort. Amen.
