THE ODYSSEY - Our trek to an over-loud , over-violent and over-hyped Classic ended in disappointment.
My wife and I rarely visit a movie theater but this was a boring and noisy big-yawn, which we regretted wasting time and money on. Specifically some of the dialogue was difficult to hear as it had not been studio enhanced due to the Director's limited decision just to use personal microphones. Conversely the final fight scenes were accompanied by prolonged earsplitting sound levels in the theater. We should have stayed at home and watched The Sound of Music for the 'umpteenth' time !
NO - I'm afraid it was four thumbs down from us !
