"I WILL" — GOD'S PROMISES FOR EVERY DAY
NO ONE WILL SNATCH YOU FROM MY HAND
Scripture: Gospel of John 10:27–29 (LLV) —
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand.”
Jesus
does not describe
His followers
as strangers.
He calls them
"My sheep."
He knows
each one
by name.
He knows
our joys.
Our fears.
Our struggles.
Our victories.
Nothing
about our lives
is hidden
from Him.
“My sheep
hear My voice.”
The Shepherd
still speaks.
Sometimes
through His Word.
Sometimes
through
the quiet prompting
of His Spirit.
Sometimes
through faithful believers
He places
along our path.
The question
is not
whether He speaks.
The question is
whether
we are listening.
“I give them
eternal life.”
Eternal life
is more
than endless days.
It is
a relationship
with the One
who loves us
without end.
A life
that begins
the moment
we place
our trust
in Christ.
“No one
will snatch them
out of My hand.”
What confidence
these words bring.
There are moments
when we feel
weak.
When life
seems uncertain.
When the storms
around us
appear stronger
than our faith.
Yet our security
does not depend
upon the strength
of our grip
on Christ.
It rests
upon the strength
of His grip
on us.
Then Jesus
adds another promise.
“My Father...
is greater than all.”
The hands
that hold us
are the hands
of the Son,
secure
within the hands
of the Father.
No power.
No fear.
No circumstance.
Can overcome
their loving care.
A new beginning rests securely here:
understanding that our confidence comes not from holding tightly to Christ, but from the unbreakable promise that He holds tightly to us.
Reflection: When fear or uncertainty enters my life, do I rely on my own strength, or do I rest in the security of Christ's loving hands?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for knowing me, calling me, and holding me securely in Your care. When fear threatens my peace, remind me that Your hands are stronger than anything I will ever face. Help me listen for Your voice each day and walk confidently, knowing that nothing can separate me from Your faithful love. Amen.
