GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Confidence in God”
Psalm 11:1
“In the Lord I put my trust; how can you say to my soul, ‘Flee as a bird to your mountain’?”
This is the Word of God. Psalm 11 begins with David's unwavering declaration of trust in God despite the threats surrounding him. While others urged him to run in fear, David chose to place his confidence in the Lord rather than in human solutions.
When life feels uncertain, our safest refuge is not found in escape but in trusting God. He remains on His throne, watching over His people and working all things according to His perfect will.
May God strengthen our faith to trust Him in every circumstance and find our confidence in His unfailing care. Amen.
