From the moment of conception, a new, living human being exists with a complete, unique DNA code. This isn't "just a clump of cells." It's a distinct human life whose brain, nervous system, and every other organ develop in a continuous process from that very first moment. The baby doesn't become human later. He or she grows as the same human being from conception to birth.

God's Word affirms this truth:

"For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb... Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed." Psalm 139:13,16

Every human life bears the image of God and is worthy of protection, dignity, and love from the very beginning. Our value is not determined by our size, age, location, or stage of development. It comes from the God who created us.
