A Child Devoted to a Life of Prayer, 🙏❤️ It is a great blessing to know God from a young age. A child cannot grow in the knowledge of God without the guidance and teaching of godly parents. Children often practise what they see and learn from their parents. This young boy has developed a heart devoted to prayer and worship, honouring God from his childhood. This reminds us of God's instruction: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) We encourage all parents to take their children to church and to keep teaching them the importance of prayer and living for God. Our Lord Jesus Christ also welcomed little children when His disciples tried to send them away. Jesus said: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Then He placed His hands on them and went on from there. Matthew 19:14–15 (NIV) When children are raised to know and fear the Lord, they grow into faithful and fruitful people. The Bible says: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10 (NIV) May God help every parent to raise children who love Him, honour Him, and walk in His ways throughout their lives.
