Monday Encouragement

Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

As we begin another week, it is easy to find our attention drawn toward the problems that surround us. We hear of rising prices, the increasing cost of living, wars and rumors of wars, political uncertainty, and countless voices promising solutions. Before long, our focus has shifted from the One who alone is able to sustain us to the things that cause us anxiety.

Yet Scripture continually reminds us that our hope is not found in governments, economies, military strength, or human wisdom. There is no person, regardless of title or political position, who can truly resolve the deepest needs of our nation or our lives apart from the sovereign hand of Almighty God.

The psalmist wisely declared:

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” — Psalm 118:9

Our greatest need is not merely economic recovery or political stability. Our greatest need is spiritual renewal. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s people wandered from Him, the answer was never found in human solutions—it was found in repentance, humility, and a wholehearted return to the Lord.

Sadly, even within many churches today, the authority of God’s Word has been weakened as the thinking of the world has slowly crept into the Church. Rather than standing firmly upon Sola Scriptura—Scripture alone as our final authority—many have allowed culture to shape truth instead of allowing God’s unchanging Word to shape our lives.

Now is not the time for compromise. Now is the time for the faithful remnant of God to stand firmly upon His Word, to proclaim the Gospel without apology, and to cry out to the Lord for mercy, repentance, and genuine revival. The Church does not need to become more like the world; the world desperately needs the transforming power of Christ through a Church that is wholly devoted to Him.

As we begin this week, let us fix our eyes upon Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. May we seek first His Kingdom, trust His sovereign purposes, and remain faithful to His Word regardless of the pressures around us.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

May the Lord grant us hearts of humility, unwavering faith, and steadfast obedience as we continue to serve Him until He comes.

Serving Christ Together for His Glory Alone.

Soli Deo Gloria.
