WATCHMAN ALERT: DO NOT BE DECEIVED
Jesus began His prophetic warning with these words:

Before His return, Jesus warned that deception would increase, false christs and false prophets would arise, wars and global distress would intensify, believers would face persecution, many would fall away, and lawlessness would abound.

Paul later revealed the same prophetic pattern:
The falling away will come, the man of sin will be revealed, and the mystery of lawlessness will continue working until the present restraint is removed.
2 Thessalonians 2:3тАУ8
The restrainerтАЩs identity is debated, but the warning is unmistakable:
Deception will spread.
Lawlessness will increase.
Faith will be tested.
Many will turn away.
The Antichrist will rise.
But Jesus also declared:

Do not allow fear to overpower faith.
Do not let lawlessness make your love grow cold.
Keep your lamp burning and your heart anchored in Jesus Christ.
The darkness will not have the final word.
Jesus Christ will return in power and great glory, and He will destroy the lawless one by the brightness of His coming.
