Father, You are sovereign over every nation, every ruler, and every event. We confess that human wisdom is limited, but Your wisdom is perfect. Give us hearts that trust You completely, minds that are governed by Your Word, and lives that reflect the peace of Christ. We pray for the leaders of the nations, that they would seek justice, act with wisdom, and recognize that they are accountable to You. Above all, may the gospel continue to advance until the day our Lord Jesus Christ returns in glory. In His precious name, Amen.

As the prophet Isaiah declared:

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.” (Isaiah 26:3–4, ESV)

May we continue to keep our eyes on the everlasting Rock, regardless of what tomorrow’s headlines may bring.
