AT CALVARY
What had happened there was that from the base of Jesus’s cross, the twenty-three-inch hole where the cross had been situated, the blood of Jesus had collected, and when the great earthquake occurred, the crack broke through the bedrock and split the lid of the stone casing, allowing the blood of God’s precious Lamb to flow through the layers of rock and fall onto the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant. This was a shadow that God fulfilled during the crucifixion of Jesus. - RON PHILLIPS
