DESTINED TO POSSESS SALVATION IN JESUS-CHRIST 📖 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 "But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." The apostle Paul urges believers to live vigilantly while awaiting the return of Jesus Christ. Because they belong to the light, they must be spiritually prepared and equipped with the armor God gives them. The Christian life is not a life of negligence, but of vigilance. For this reason, God does not leave us unprotected: faith guards our hearts, love guides our actions, and the hope of salvation protects our thoughts from discouragement and fear. Our assurance rests on this truth: in Jesus Christ, God has destined us for salvation and not for condemnation. Always remember that you belong to Christ and that your victory is found in Him. Based on this, clothe yourself with faith, love, and hope before facing the day's challenges. Lord, clothe me each day with faith, love, and hope.
