A WORD FOR YOU.
(Insights For Life)
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
YOU HAVE RECEIVED GRACE! Prt2
What is Grace? Grace is more than just unmerited favour. Grace is divine enabling. Grace is divine help. What you can't accomplish, perform or become on your own, grace steps in to enable and help you. Power helps you perform, while Grace helps you become. But as many as received him, to them gave he power (grace) to become the sons of God,. John 1:12.
So when we receive Christ, we are impacted with grace to become and perform what we can't ordinarily.
As a child of God, you have received grace already. You carry grace - it's on you. There's grace on you to fulfill that assignment, there's grace on you to execute that task. That passion, that drive, that nudging or inspiration comes with grace. YOU won't know what you can do until you start. You have also received grace to face that challenge and overcome it.
Understand this two things:
- Grace is in levels. Grace can grow. And we are not all of the same grace level. But we all receive the same level of grace at salvation.
- Grace is made manifest with work. It takes work to activate grace. What God does not call you to do, He will not engrace you for. Grace can be dormant or inactive. A man can be graced without knowing. Grace is primarily released to achieve a purpose or carry out an assignment. Paul said: "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me." (ESV). 1Cor.15:10. Paul directly credits God's grace for his identity and labor as an apostle. So Grace is for work, it is for a purpose. However, for grace to speak expressly, you must:
1. Understand what you are graced for. There are certain assignment, Ministry, battles or challenges you are not graced for. If you dabble into it or confront it, you will be crushed. Many Pastors have died because of family liberation because they were not graced to pull down the ancient altars. There are certain fights, battles, enemies you walk away from - you don't challenge them at that time. It is wisdom not foolishness. From today, may the grace on your life begin to speak expressly in Jesus precious name. Be blessed, Stay refreshed!
