In my understanding, a disciple is a person who puts Jesus first in all, loves Him first, considers Him Lord and master over all. On a daily, a disciple hates hates his own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters. A disciple hates his own life too (Luke14:26). Meaning a disciple puts God first before his life, and loved ones. To a disciple, Jesus' command and say in everything about their lives comes first. A disciple has nothing of himself. (Luke 14:33) A disciple participates in Jesus' suffering. . (Phil 1:29; 3:10). Therefore brothers and sisters, let us be disciples and then go make more disciples of ALL nations. 🙂
