God Is Working in You
Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
"For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure."
There are days when we feel too weak, too discouraged, or too unqualified to keep moving forward. We may wonder if we have what it takes to fulfill God's calling. Philippians 2:13 reminds us that the Christian life was never meant to be lived by our own strength.
God is not standing at a distance waiting for us to figure everything out. He is actively working within us. He gives us the desire to seek Him, the strength to obey Him, and the ability to accomplish what He has called us to do. Even when you feel inadequate, His power is more than enough.
Every step of obedience, every act of kindness, every moment of perseverance is evidence of God's Spirit at work in your life. The same God who called you is also the One who equips you. He doesn't simply point you toward your purpose—He empowers you to live it.
Today, stop striving in your own strength. Surrender your plans, your fears, and your limitations to Him. Trust that He is shaping your heart, strengthening your faith, and leading you into His perfect will. What He has started in you, He is faithful to complete.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for working in me every day. Thank You that I don't have to rely on my own strength or ability. Fill me with Your Spirit, strengthen me to obey Your voice, and give me the desire to live according to Your purpose. Help me trust that You are continually shaping me into the person You created me to be. May my life bring You glory and pleasure. In Jesus' name, Amen.
