THE CALVARY MINISTRY - ONLINE THE CROSS OF CALVARY 🙏🏼 FRIDAY 31ST JULY, 2026 📜 🔑📖 KEY VERSE:``` "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world" (GALATIANS 6:14). Paul looked at the Cross and saw two crucifixions. Not only was he crucified, but the world was crucified to him. The same Cross that killed his old man killed the world’s power over him. Before Calvary, the world was attractive — its applause, its approval, its possessions. After Calvary, it was a corpse. You cannot be tempted by a dead man. That is what the Cross does — it makes the world dead to you and you dead to the world. Three truths from glorying in the Cross: One, the Cross is our only boast. “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross.” Not in works, not in wisdom, not in wealth — only in the Cross. Your degree cannot save you, your money cannot keep you, your goodness cannot justify you. Only the Cross. Two, the Cross breaks the world’s grip. “By whom the world is crucified unto me.” The Cross exposes the world — empty, passing away, crucified. What it offers is already judged. Three, the Cross makes you dead to the world’s system. “And I unto the world.” The world says you are strange now, because you no longer dance to its music. You are dead to its sin, its pride, its lust. That is not loss; that is liberty. What are you glorying in today? Your connections, your achievements, your religion? Lay them down and glory again in the Cross. Let the world see that it has lost its hold on you, because you died at Calvary and now live unto Christ. Prayer Father, forgive me for glorying in anything but the Cross. Today I boast only in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Crucify the world to me and me to the world. Let the Cross stand between me and all that would draw me away from You. Let my life be a testimony that I belong to Calvary, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. May the Lord make the Cross your glory today. May the world lose its pull upon you, may sin lose its taste, and may Christ alone be your boast and your beauty, through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. 🙏🏼
