The Root of All Evil
The root of all evil is neither the devil nor money itself. The devil is not the source of all evil, and money is not inherently evil. The Bible clearly states that “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10).
Money is a tool, but when it is loved above all else, it can become a master. The love of money has the power to turn hearts away from God, leading individuals to compromise their faith, integrity, and compassion in the pursuit of wealth.
Jesus Himself said, “You cannot serve both God and money” (Matthew 6:24). The question is not whether you have money, but whether money has you.
