One of the things I love about Christianity is that the Jesus we serve does not deceive us at all. He let us know what we will encounter, good or bad. This is why we have prophecy.
Of all the things the enemies of Jesus could accuse him of, cowardice was not one of them. The Lord has no place for cowards in His kingdom. It is a pity that the vast majority of Christians produced in our modern “revivals’ are just bunch of cowards. This is why Satan is having a field day sacking the institutional churches.
