Life Lessons.

Your journey here on earth begins the moment you are born until you breathe your last breath. And the beautiful thing is, each new day . . . is a day to learn and grow in a constantly changing world. But your greatest “life lessons” won’t happen when you are on top of the mountain, and everything is going great in your life. No, not at all. Your most valuable lessons are learned when you are down in the valley-when your friends betray you, marriage fails, health diagnosis is grim, out of work and have no money to pay the bills, etc. That’s when you really find out who your “real friends” are. But more importantly, it is during hard times when you lean on Jesus the most! If you are in the valley right now, remember you are not alone. Jesus is with you and will never leave you. He will give you comfort, support, guidance, and wisdom. He may speak to you when you’re reading His Holy Word, or through His Holy Spirit speaking directly to your heart. Many times God’s answer comes through a friend, an unusual circumstance, divine intervention, or even a dream. God speaks to His children in many different ways, but the important thing is . . . to listen for His voice. No one likes to go through difficult times, but it is during our trials that we learn important life lessons, and in doing so, grow closer to Jesus. Text: Joshua 1:9, Psalm 9:9, Psalm 37:24, John 14:1-3
