THERE IS NO OTHER GOD
Isaiah 45:6
"So that from the rising of the sun to its setting people may know that there is no God besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other."
Through the prophet Isaiah, God announces that he will use Cyrus, a pagan king, to accomplish his purposes. By this act, he reveals to all nations that he is the only sovereign God who directs history.
For in reality, God is not a god among others: he is the only God, Lord, Creator, and Master of all things. His authority knows no boundaries or rivals.
When everything seems uncertain, this truth remains unshakeable: God always reigns. Those who acknowledge his sovereignty find a peace that circumstances cannot take away.
Because of this, place all your trust in God alone. Refuse to make your resources, your abilities, or other people your ultimate security. The God who governs the universe is also the one who faithfully guides your life. Hallelujah 🏼
O Lord, you are the only true God. Strengthen my faith so that I may cling to you alone and that my whole life may proclaim your sovereignty in the name of Jesus, Amen.
