He Will Wipe Every Tear Away
Scripture: Revelation 21:4 (AMP)
"And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away."
Revelation 21:4 gives us one of the most comforting promises in all of Scripture. It reminds us that God's final plan is not one of endless suffering but of complete restoration. Every tear we have cried, every disappointment we have endured, and every pain we have carried is known by Him. The verse doesn't say that an angel will wipe away our tears—it says He will. This reveals the deeply personal love and compassion of our Heavenly Father.
Life can be filled with seasons of grief, loss, and uncertainty. Sometimes the pain feels overwhelming, and we wonder if things will ever change. Yet God assures us that our present suffering is temporary. A day is coming when death will be defeated forever, sorrow will disappear, and pain will have no place in His eternal kingdom.
While we wait for that glorious day, we are not abandoned. Jesus walks with us through every trial, strengthening us with His presence and filling us with hope. Our future is secure because of His victory over sin and death.
Today, choose to lift your eyes above your present circumstances and fix them on God's eternal promises. The hardships of this life will not have the final word. God will.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the hope You have given me through Your Word. Thank You that one day You will wipe away every tear, and sorrow, pain, and death will be no more. Help me to trust You in every difficult season and to hold firmly to Your promises. Fill my heart with peace and remind me that my future is secure in Christ.
