GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY

“God's Judgment on Failed Shepherds”

Zechariah 11:8

“Then I cut off the three shepherds in one month, and my soul was impatient with them; and their soul also abhorred me.”

This is the Word of God. In Zechariah 11, the prophet shows God's painful judgment on leaders who fail and weaken the flock. Their removal reminds us that God holds leaders accountable for care and stewardship.

Today Jesus calls leaders (and every believer) to shepherd with humility, compassion, and faithful service. Let us lead by serving, following the Good Shepherd's example.

May God make us faithful caretakers of His people. Amen.
