Smith Wigglesworth had suffered terribly for three years with kidney stones and those who had roomed with him on the road as he ministered, they testified to his rolling around on the floor in complete agony all night as a result of passing the horrible stones. His clothes would be soaked in blood, he’d wash up and get dressed and go to the service to minister like nothing happened.
Nobody had any idea the terrible pain he was going through except those closest to him. He could have had surgery for them, but he had heard from the Lord that he was not to "have a knife touch his body." Ultimately, after several years and much suffering, he emerged from his trial. He kept those sharp razor like kidney stones in a jar. Later he dealt with Sciatica, which caused extreme pain in the his hip and back.
We have no idea what some of these great healing generals faced physically themselves, while they saw countless healings and miracles happen to individuals in their services.
