I’m deeply thankful for online ministry. Podcasts, YouTube sermons, and livestreams have encouraged countless believers and helped spread the Gospel around the world. At the same time, Scripture reminds us that some parts of the Christian life simply require people. We are called to bear one another’s burdens, pray for one another, serve one another, and gather together as the body of Christ. Online ministry and the local church aren’t enemies. They’re partners.
