Kingdom Carriers | Availability One of the greatest qualities God looks for isn't ability. It's availability. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly worked through ordinary men and women who simply made themselves available. Isaiah said, "Here am I. Send me." The boy with five loaves and two fish simply offered what he had. The disciples left their nets and followed. None of them knew where the journey would lead. But they made themselves available. I've often discovered that God doesn't ask me to have all the answers. He simply asks me to be willing. Willing to listen. Willing to obey. Willing to encourage. Willing to serve. Perhaps we've spent too much time asking, "Lord, make me more capable." When a better prayer might be, "Lord, make me more available." Because when our lives are available to God, He has a remarkable way of doing far more than we could ever accomplish on our own.
