Luke 10:38-42
Jesus visits lazarus's sisters, Mary and Martha.
Mary sits at his feet to hear his words while Martha starts preparing a big meal for Jesus.
Both are doing a very good thing.
But Martha gets distracted with all of the serving and she says to Jesus tell my sister to help me.
But notice what Jesus says
That one thing is necessary, And that Mary has chosen the good part.
So, serving the Lord is awesome, but it is much more important, actually it's the one thing that is necessary and it's the good part when we stay in the word of God and spend time with Jesus above all else, even serving.
