Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 7 août 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12) How can we become children of God? The Bible gives a twofold answer to this question: It happens through personal faith in the Lord Jesus and through the new birth that God works in me.  The first part of the answer is shown to me in today’s verse. When I receive the Son of God, I accept His judgment about me and my life. In other words, I repent and see myself as God sees me. I acknowledge my sins and know that I am lost. Added to this is personal faith in the name, that is, in the person of the Lord Jesus. I believe that He is the eternal Son of God and became a sinless man. I also believe that He is the Saviour of the world who gave His life on the cross to save me.  The second part of the answer I find in the next verse: “… who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:13). God brings about the new birth in me through His Word and His Spirit. He gives me eternal, divine life. Just as through natural birth I became a child of my parents, so I am a child of God because I am born of God and now possess His life.  From this springs a great blessing for me: I know God as my Father, have a personal relationship with Him, and know myself loved by Him.
