"THE HEART" — WHAT GOD SEES WITHIN
THE GOD WHO SEARCHES THE HEART
Jeremiah 17:10 (LLV) —
“I, the LORD, search the heart and examine the mind, to give each person according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”
There are parts
of ourselves
that even we
do not
fully understand.
Hidden motives.
Quiet fears.
Unspoken desires.
Questions
we cannot
always answer.
But nothing
is hidden
from God.
“I, the LORD,
search
the heart.”
God's searching
is not
the investigation
of a judge
looking
for reasons
to condemn.
It is
the careful gaze
of a loving Father
who already knows
everything
about His child.
He sees
the faith
we struggle
to express.
The tears
we hide.
The prayers
we whisper.
The battles
no one else
knows
we are fighting.
He also sees
the places
where pride,
fear,
or selfishness
still linger.
Not to shame us,
but to invite us
into deeper
transformation.
The God
who searches
our hearts
is the same God
who loves us
enough
to change them.
Nothing
surprises Him.
Nothing
discourages Him.
Nothing
is beyond
His grace.
As we look back
over this journey,
we remember
that God
looks
at the heart.
He asks us
to guard it.
To surrender it.
To purify it.
To treasure Him
above all else.
To allow
His love
to fill it.
And now,
we rest
in the assurance
that the One
who knows
our hearts
best
also loves them
most.
There is
no safer place
for our hearts
than in
His hands.
A new beginning ends where it began:
placing our hearts into the hands of the God who knows us completely, loves us perfectly, and never stops transforming us.
Reflection: If I invited God to search every corner of my heart today, what would I ask Him to strengthen, remove, or renew?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for knowing me completely and loving me without reservation. Search my heart and reveal anything that draws me away from You. Strengthen what is pleasing in Your sight, remove what does not belong, and continue shaping me into the likeness of Christ. I trust my heart to the One who knows it best. In Jesus' name, Amen.
