I wrote “No Sin of His Own” after seeing repeated claims that Jesus sinned, needed to repent, or wasn’t the spotless Lamb Scripture declares Him to be. Rather than answer those ideas with another argument, I wanted to answer them with worship. This song is rooted in 2 Corinthians 5:21 and the Gospel truth that Jesus lived without sin, willingly bore ours, and rose again.
