Girded With Truth
In the Roman soldier's armour, the belt was foundational. It held the breastplate in place, kept the sword accessible, and allowed the soldier to move without the armour shifting or loosening. Without the belt, everything else was destabilised. The spiritual belt of truth functions similarly: every other piece of God's armour depends on the integrity of truth in the believer's life. Remove truth, and everything loosens.
In a season of warfare, truth is your most foundational protection. The enemy's primary weapon is deception. If he can introduce a lie into your belief system, about God's character, your identity, your circumstances, or your calling, he will destabilise everything else. Guard truth. Pursue it. Live it. Press forward on the solid foundation of a life fully girded with both Word and integrity.

Gracious Heavenly Father, let truth be my belt. Expose every lie I have believed. Secure my armour with the truth of Your Word and the genuine integrity of my walk with You. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!
