Morning friends. Sometimes you look in the mirror, and starring back is a smile that just knows. Nothing is more beautiful than a real smile that has struggled through tears. Some smiles come from easy days. Others were born in the valley, baptized in tears, and carried through storms by the grace of God. Psalm 30:5 says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” If you’re smiling today after everything you’ve walked through, don’t ever be ashamed of the tears that came before it. Those tears watered the ground where God grew your joy. Your scars are evidence you survived. Your smile is evidence God was faithful. A smile with a testimony shines brighter than a smile without a story. Maybe today your heart is still hurting. Bring it to Jesus. He knows how to turn broken hearts into beautiful testimonies.
