10-08-2026 Peace Through Faith Romans 5:1 (AMP) "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Sometimes our hearts are restless because we feel we need to do more, be better, or prove ourselves to God. But Romans 5:1 reminds us that our relationship with God is not built on our performance—it is built on faith in Jesus Christ. To be justified means that, through Christ, God declares us right with Him. We don't have to spend our lives trying to earn His acceptance. Jesus has already made the way. And the result is peace with God. This peace doesn't mean that everything around us will always be peaceful. Life can still bring uncertainty, disappointment, and difficult seasons. But underneath it all, we can have the assurance that we are reconciled to God and held securely in His love. When your mind is overwhelmed today, remind yourself: “I am at peace with God through Jesus. I don't have to earn His love. I can trust Him.” Let that truth quiet your heart and give you confidence to face whatever today brings. 🙏 Prayer Lord Jesus, thank You that I am justified by faith and that I can have peace with God through You. Help me to stop striving for Your acceptance and instead rest in what You have already done for me. When worry and fear arise, remind me that I belong to You.
